How to Make a Pen Pal Friendly Advent Calendar

Hello everyone! I love crafting and figuring out ways to make whatever comes to mind. Recently, I had this idea to create an advent calendar that was small enough to be mailed, but could still hold quality goodies/stationery. I tried one design and really hated the way it looked. (I can’t even bear to show the first rendition!!) But I soon thought to create mini envelope bundles to be mailed off just in time for the holidays! This flat advent calendar is great for friends, family, or pen pals!

Supplies You Will Need:

  • scissors
  • washi tape or stickers to close the envelopes
  • paper (i.e. card stock, kraft paper, holiday themed, etc.)
  • pen (i.e. white/silver/gold Gelly roll, paint pens, etc.)
  • string (i.e. twine, cord, jute, cotton string, etc.)
  • small & flat stationery (i.e. mini sticky notes, sticker flakes, decorative paper clips, etc.)
